Baby Freiman at 16 weeks - week of May 23rd

It's interesting that Baby Freiman is an avocado this week...as this is the only food aversion I've had so far. Whether in raw or guacamole form, I'd really rather not discuss avocados in any fashion.

What I have been eating a lot of are pineapples, bananas, tomatoes, chai lattes, cereal (I haven't eaten cereal before now in at least five years), and McDonald's ice cream cones (don't judge me, they're really good and not that bad for you). And cheese. Loooootsss of cheese.

What I love but Baby Freiman has rejected are Chick-fil-a (is this a political statement?) and coffee.

Highlights of the week: I started knitting a baby blanket. It's aqua! We also walked to and ate at the new Buffalo Wild Wings about 1.5 miles from our house. Yum.

What I've learned: The baby can hear us! I've encouraged David to talk to the baby, because apparently they can recognize familiar voices once they're born.

Here is the week 16 photo - not much change!

  1. All of my children rejected coffee for at least the first trimester. By the third trimester I could drink it, but I know I preferred to drink a lot of tea for Patrick.
